Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Delivery timeframe
Orders are generally delivered within 8–15 business days from confirmation of your order.
The 8–15 business day period is an estimated delivery timeframe and may vary depending on the destination, courier volumes and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
2. Courier services
We currently use:
- Aramex – Store to Door
- The Courier Guy
The courier service used for your order may be selected by The Wag House based on availability and delivery requirements.
Once your order has been dispatched, you may receive tracking information where available.
3. Courier delays
The Wag House is not responsible for delays caused by the courier, including operational delays, route disruptions, weather, strikes, incorrect or incomplete delivery information, failed delivery attempts or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will, however, reasonably assist customers in following up on delayed or lost shipments with the relevant courier.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights you may have under applicable South African law.
4. Delivery address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact details.
Additional delivery costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged to the customer where permitted by law.
5. Lost or damaged parcels
If your parcel appears to be lost, damaged or tampered with during delivery, please contact The Wag House as soon as possible.
We will assist in investigating the matter with the relevant courier and will provide any remedy required by applicable law.
6. Delivery acceptance
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If the product is damaged, incorrect or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us promptly and provide photographs where possible.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Important notice
By placing an order, you acknowledge that delivery times are estimates and that courier delays can occur.
The Wag House will make reasonable efforts to ensure that orders are dispatched and delivered within the stated timeframe, but we cannot guarantee that every order will arrive within 8–15 business days.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any consumer right or liability that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
